Christopher Jullien played well for Neil Lennon’s Celtic against Steven Gerrard’s Rangers at Ibrox last weekend.

Rangers suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Celtic at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership this past weekend.
It was Jullien’s first Old Firm derby, and the 26-year-old defender played well for Neil Lennon’s side and was a rock at the back.
The former France Under-20 international was brilliant in the air, made the right tackles and the right interceptions at the right time, and marshalled his defence brilliantly.
Jullien has reflected on his first Old Firm derby, and the defender has stated that his legs were shaking before the encounter.
Jullien told The Scottish Sun: “At the entrance to the game, my legs were shaking, everything. It was really good. The importance of the game, the stress beforehand, everyone was ignited at once.
“When you see our reaction with the fans afterwards, you can see what it was before. All the stress is normal for a footballer, but winning those games is so enjoyable.”

Good signing for Celtic
Celtic signed Jullien from French club Toulouse in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £7 million.
The defender has proved to be a brilliant acquisition for the Hoops, and the 26-year-old has already established himself as an important player in Lennon’s team.
