Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott may have to wait for his chance at Ireland under-21 level.

Parrott has earned a promotion to Ireland’s under-21 side for the first time at the age of 17, after impressing for Tottenham over pre-season.
The youngster was included in Mauricio Pochettino’s touring squad and did not look out of place as Spurs won the Audi Cup in the summer.
Despite coming up against some of the best defenders in the world, the Tottenham prospect still managed to cause some problems.
There is now great excitement about Parrott’s future at Tottenham.
But it seems that Kenny may keep Parrott waiting, as he wants to be fair on his other options at international level.
"This is his first time in with us. Troy is only 17, and we have quite a few strikers," Kenny said. "Troy is only finding his feet in with the group. So we'll see how it goes, but competition is very competitive. There is no guarantees for any of the players.

"He's not played 90 minutes, really, in a year, he's not played many matches really since I took over."
Parrott is competition with the likes of Aaron Connolly, Adam Idah and Jonathan Afolabi for a starting place for Ireland’s under-21 side.
Pochettino has confirmed that Parrott is his side’s number two striker this season, which should see him given game time when Harry Kane is not in Tottenham’s team.
