They’re ready to go head-to-head once again, but this time, it’s professional.

On Saturday, August 25th 2018 we witnessed the culmination of one of YouTube’s strangest feuds. It was huge, but now we’re ready to usher in what many are already predicting to be one of the biggest events in internet history.

The result of last year’s hotly-anticipated match was a majority draw; audiences were swiftly looking ahead towards a rematch, and fortunately, it’s in the pipeline as we speak.

Branded “KSI vs Logan Paul 2”, the match has been teased by both parties on their YouTube channels and beyond, this time with no headguards. The stakes feel much higher than before, with the last event proving intense but ultimately without true pay off – thus the rematch. The fight was criticised by a number of boxing enthusiasts as making a mockery of the beloved sport, but nevertheless, the crowds it drew in were undeniable.

It’s all happening.

KSI vs Logan Paul rematch!

The rematch will take place on Saturday, November 9th 2019 at the Staple Center in Los Angeles.

With millions of subscribers and the last fight boasting a live attendance of 15,000 fans, this is set to be an even greater spectacle than the previous. As reported by the BBC, it will be presented by promoter Eddie Hearn, whose associations with Anthony Joshua and beyond lend this one-night extravaganza even more intrigue.

The same source also highlights that both KSI and Logan turned professional just recently. Before the event, there will, of course, be an LA press conference – taking place on September 14th and yet another in the UK to help promote and build anticipation.

Tickets for KSI vs Logan Paul

So, how can you get tickers for the big night?

According to The Independent, tickets go on general sale from Saturday, 14th September, but pre-sale will be made available on Tuesday, September 10th. You can check out Staples Center’s general events page here – when tickets do go on sale, you’ll have to be extremely quick.

The BBC offers insight from both participants. KSI said: “Finally, after over a year since our rematch, I get to enter the ring once again to fight Logan Paul. If I’m being honest, I didn’t fight well at all in the first fight, and even then, I still managed to draw against him. This time I won’t make it so close, especially now that it’s a pro fight, no head guards and 10oz gloves.”

On the other hand, Logan added: “Last fight, KSI couldn’t beat me with only three months of training under my belt. For the past year, while JJ has been wasting his time trying to become a rapper, I’ve been training every single day.”

How to watch from home

It won’t be shown on YouTube, but instead, over on the streaming service DAZN; there is an app available to download. This is for US audiences, and as of yet, we’re still waiting on UK news.

Whoever bags the broadcasting rights for this one has a golden ticket firmly in their hands. It’s been a huge announcement, and while there’s still more information to come in from the press conferences, we’ve learned enough to get us pumped for the showdown.

Bring it on!
