Grab your keyboard and acoustic guitar, because there’s still more Carole & Tuesday adventures to experience.
Netflix has actually been stepping up its game on the anime front rather recently. In August they released Satelight and Yumeta Company’s Cannon Busters, a series which many fans of the source material thought would never even materialise. Then came Carole & Tuesday, which landed on the streaming platform on Friday, August 30th 2019.
The exciting new anime is directed by Shinichirō Watanabe, who has previously contributed the likes of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo; Japanese studio Bones produced it. Although on Netflix – well, some of it – Carole & Tuesday actually began premiering on Fuji TV, with the first episode airing on Wednesday, April 10th 2019. Since then, it has aired weekly, with a number of episodes appearing for Netflix audiences to binge through before it concludes on the station’s +Ultra programming block.
Carole & Tuesday: Season 2
Well, more part two than season 2, really…
According to Wikipedia, the anime series consists of twenty-four episodes; no, they’re not all on Netflix yet. There are twelve episodes on Netflix ready to stream, and the twelfth – titled ‘We’ve Only Just Begun’ – offers a nice indication of more to come. As audiences reached the conclusion of the episode, text appeared reading “To Be Continued”, and indeed it will.
So, when can we expect them on the streaming service? Under the circumstances, What’s On Netflix predicts that the second part could arrive on the platform between November – December; it’s just a prediction though. They highlight that the series is taking a short break in regards to its premiere on Fuji TV, with Wikipedia noting that episode 20 will screen on Wednesday, September 4th 2019. After that, there’s no information on the concluding episodes, but What’s On Netflix say that the finale won’t air in Japan until Thursday, October 3rd 2019.
What are the episodes called?
Episode twelve was very well-titled, and fortunately, we have the titles for a number of episodes still to reach Netflix Audiences. Check them out below:
