Life at Leeds United has started off in a strong fashion for Ben White.

Ben White has expressed his gratitude towards Leeds United fans on Instagram after he was voted the PFA’s Player of the Month.

Leeds confirmed on their official website that centre-back White received 44% of the vote by supporters, as he beat the likes of Borja Baston of Swansea City, Lyle Taylor of Chalton and Hull City’s Jarod Bowen to the award.

White moved to Elland Road in the summer when he made a season-long loan switch from Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion.

Nonetheless, after the announcement was made about White’s award, he sent this two-word message on his personal Instagram account, accompanied with the Marching On Together hashtag.

White will be hoping to continue his recent rise because if he can play his part in Leeds earning promotion to the Premier League then he will be remembered very fondly by the fans in years to come.

When Pontus Jansson left Elland Road in the summer many felt that his departure would leave a gaping hole in Marcelo Bielsa’s defence.

But it has been far from that because White’s performances have been outstanding as his recent awards proves. However, his test and Leeds United’s test will come towards the second half of the campaign.
