Jonjoe Kenny left Everton on loan this summer and he has already scored a first career goal in the Bundesliga.

There are worst ways to score the first goal of your career.
With Schalke two up and cursing to a victory against Hertha Berlin, Everton loanee Jonjoe Kenny raced onto a perfectly weighted pass by the edge of the box and drilled a pinpoint, first-time shot across the helpless goalkeeper and into the far corner.
Talk about putting the icing on the cake. Kenny produced possibly the finest performance of his senior career against the Berliners at the Veltins Arena and Everton’s loss, if only temporary, already looks like Schalke’s gain.
“We have Jonjoe Kenny, a player who made a lot of steam on the right-hand side,” Schalke’s Austrian striker Guido Burgstaller told 90Min. “He played an outstanding game.”

Sporting director Jochen Schneider agrees.
“We are pleased that he is here. He fits us perfectly,” he says.
Just seven days earlier, Kenny had his hands on his face wondering what he had done. The Scouse-native was lured into the most naïve of challenges by tricky Bayern Munich winger Kinsley Coman, giving away a penalty which Robert Lewandowski converted en route to a 3-0 win and yet another Bundesliga hat-trick.
But barring that one moment of madness, Kenny has been a huge hit at Schalke.
And, if he builds on that Man of the Match performance against Hertha over the next few months, life after Seamus Coleman won’t look too scary after all for Everton fans.
