The Celtic defender was linked with moves to Kilmarnock and Bolton Wanderers.

A cryptic message on Jack Hendry’s Instagram story suggests the Celtic defender is unhappy at how deadline day panned out for him.
Hendry, who last played for Celtic in February, was linked with moves to Kilmarnock and Bolton Wanderers, but ultimately remained in Glasgow.
There is little indication, as yet, as to why the 24-year-old’s move – to Kilmarnock or Bolton – never materialised.
But the following post, which was published shortly after the close of the transfer window, implies that it was nothing of Hendry’s own doing.
Hendry has played just 26 times since his January 2018 move from Dundee, which cost Celtic around £1.2 million, according to Transfermarkt.
And it seems he is not the only one left ruing his failure to leave.
This is what those of a Celtic persuasion are saying on Twitter…
Hendry was mentioned as a possible makeweight in Celtic’s deal for the Kilmarnock defender, Greg Taylor, which went ahead regardless, while Bolton were said to have enquired about the Glasgwegian ahead of their earlier, 5pm deadline.

The English side signed nine players in total on Monday.
