Aaron Tshibola signed for Aston Villa when they were relegated from the Premier League in 2016.

Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Tshibola has confirmed his departure on Instagram as he has seemingly moved to Belgium to earn regular game time.
It seems as though the 2016 Roberto Di Matteo signing has joined Waasland-Beveren, with Belgian outlet Het Laaste Nieuws most recently claiming that he was on the verge of a move there.
Aston Villa themselves haven't posted anything about Tshibola's departure, as the European transfer window slammed shut on Monday evening.
Nonetheless, this was Tshibola's message, as posted on his personal Instagram account, with several players, both who currently play for Villa or have played for Villa, responding to his message.

It never really worked out for Tshibola at Villa. He signed when they were relegated from the Premier League, and during that period it was difficult for a lot of players to prove their worth.
Initially, he was given a chance, but by the time Steve Bruce arrived in October 2016, it was the beginning of the end for him.
Last season, he spent a season on-loan at Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock, who finished in the European places under now Scotland manager Steve Clarke.
Ironically, it was Clarke who brought through Tshibola when he was at Reading, and then when he joined Villa's coaching staff in 2016, Tshibola joined him at the Midlands outfit.
