Sheffield Wednesday reportedly want Tony Pulis.

Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with Tony Pulis.

According to The Sun, Wednesday are interested in appointing Pulis as their new manager.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Owls made a move for the 61-year-old earlier this summer after Steve Bruce left for Premier League Newcastle United.

The report has claimed that although Pulis turned down the Owls at the time, the Championship club will try for him again should results not improve under caretaker-manager Lee Bullen.

Wednesday are 11th in the Championship table at the moment with nine points from six matches, just a point behind sixth-placed Fulham.

The Owls lost to Queens Park Rangers at the weekend, and they also suffered a defeat at the hands of Preston North End away from home in their previous Championship game.

Pulis has been without a managerial role since his departure from Middlesbrough at the end of last season, and he is hugely experienced, having managed the likes of West Bromwich Albion, Crystal Palace and Stoke City.
