Scott Sinclair is out of favour at Scottish Premiership champions Celtic but imagine the impact he would have in League One at Jack Ross’s Sunderland.

Sunderland are interested in securing a deadline-day move for out-of-favour Celtic winger Scott Sinclair, according to the Northern Echo.
After three years, nine trophies and 60 goals, Sinclair’s future at Celtic is more uncertain than ever. The former Manchester City and Aston Villa winger has featured in just one league game so far this season and he was nowhere to be seen again as The Hoops won the first Old Firm derby of the season at Ibrox on Sunday.
The signing of Mohamed Elyounoussi on loan from Southampton will force the already seldom-seen Sinclair even further down the pecking order but the Northern Echo believes that he could be offered a last-gasp escape route by Sunderland.

It is no secret that the Black Cats are crying out for creativity with Jack Ross over-reliant upon the enigmatic Chris Magurie and the ageing Aiden McGeady in the final third.
Sinclair scored 17 goals and produced six assists last season despite being in-and-out of the side while his pace and finesse would leave third-tier defenders quaking in their boots.
The Echo points out that Sinclair has interest from abroad while he is currently taking home £30,000-a-week at Celtic. This deal is easier said than done.
