West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble has told the Daily Mail that he loves how the club have changed their transfer approach in recent times.
The Hammers beat Norwich City 2-0 on Saturday afternoon, meaning it's now two Premier League wins in a row for Manuel Pellegrini's side.
In Saturday's win, big-money summer signing Sebastien Haller scored again, meaning he's now picked up three goals in his last two outings.
The Frenchman seems to finally be the answer to West Ham's striking woes in recent years, and the Hammers' recruitment appears to have taken a leap forward since Pellegrini arrived with Mario Husillos.
Issa Diop, Felipe Anderson and Pablo Fornals – along with Haller – are the type of players West Ham need to be bringing in rather than overpaid veterans.
The likes of Jose Fonte, Marko Arnautovic, Javier Hernandez and Andre Ayew didn't prove to be value for money, all costing big money when factoring in their ages.

Now, captain Noble has admitted that he loves the new direction in the transfer market, suggesting that West Ham needed to move on from bringing in veterans who just wanted a big pay day in London.
Noble's honesty that the previous approach wasn't working is refreshing, and he now feels that West Ham have talented youngsters who want to be with the club for the long-term, which is much better.
“This club needed to move on from bringing in players who were here to live in London and get a bit of a payday - we need young, enthusiastic players who want to be here for a long time,” said Noble.
