Liverpool teammates had a minor disagreement at Turf Moor.

Liverpool’s fantastic form means the Reds sit pretty at the top of the Premier League.

The 3-0 win over Burnley was their fourth win in a row, ensuring they stayed two points clear of City.

One minor downside from the win was Sadio Mane’s temper tantrum.

The winger displayed his frustration with teammate Mohamed Salah, after the Egyptian did not pass the ball to him when he was unmarked in the penalty area.

BBC pundit Garth Crooks weighed in on the situation in his team of the week column, criticising Salah and praised teammate Roberto Firmino by comparison.

Crooks said: “For Mane to explode so publicly, as he did at being substituted after Salah had so clearly ignored him on two occasions to score, was completely justified.

“Salah can’t play this game on his own – a point Firmino clearly understands.”

This obviously is a situation Liverpool manager needs to nip in the bud, because it cannot be allowed the fester.

Firmino, Salah and Mane have been arguably the best front three in Europe over the past three seasons and Liverpool need to keep them together as long as possible.

Mane and Salah both shared the Premier League golden boot last season, along with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
