Celtic-linked Yannick Bolasie has sent a cryptic tweet about his Everton career.

Today is transfer deadline day for a number of European countries and Bolasie, for now, remains a Toffee.

The 30-year-old winger, who cost Everton £28 million in 2016 [The Guardian], appears to have no future at Goodison Park while manager Marco Silva is there and Celtic have been touted as a potential destination [Goal.com] last month.

But time is running out if the DR Congo attacker is to leave Merseyside - and Bolasie claims on Twitter that certain people are treating his career 'like lego'.

 

If Bolasie does leave Everton, it seems unlikely that he'll be joining Celtic.

The transfer would have only worked as a loan in the first place, given that the Hoops can't afford an outright transfer fee on top of his wages.

But the Scottish Premiership champions signed Mohamed Elyounoussi on loan from Southampton on Friday - a player who, like Bolasie, can play on both wings.

At this stage it's probable that Celtic boss Neil Lennon doesn't need the former Crystal Palace star, though he has also been linked with a move for Jordon Ibe so maybe, just maybe, another wide option is on the Northern Irishman's agenda.
