West Bromwich Albion forward Charlie Austin has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Blackburn Rovers.

The Baggies got the better of Blackburn 3-2 away at The Hawthorns in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Austin – who moved to West Brom from Premier League outfit Southampton in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £4 million – has taken to Twitter to revel in the win for Slaven Bilic’s side.

Positive start

Over the course of the 90 minutes at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon, hosts West Brom had 50% of the possession, took 21 shots of which eight were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.

The Baggies are fourth in the Championship table at the moment with 12 points from six matches, four points behind leaders Swansea City.

What is very encouraging about West Brom is that they are still unbeaten in the league, as Bilic’s aim to finish in top two of the standings.
