Rangers captain James Tavernier believes that Celtic players will do their best to antagonise striker Alfredo Morelos during tomorrow's Old Firm.
The bitter Glasgow rivals face off for the first time this season at Ibrox on Sunday.
There's a big spotlight on Rangers hitman Morelos who is not only chasing his first goal against Celtic, but the fiery Colombian made headlines for the wrong reasons last season.
Morelos was sent off in the Hoops' 2-1 win at Parkhead in March for reacting to Scott Brown's attempts to wind him up, elbowing the Bhoys captain.
There's big question marks over whether the 23-year-old - who picked up five red cards last season - can curb his temperament problems and the visit of Celtic is a big test of that.
And Tavernier believes that Neil Lennon's side will try and goad Morelos, but claims that he and his Gers team-mates must 'keep him cool'.
He told a press conference on Rangers' YouTube channel: "Players will try and intimidate him during the game, but it’s up to all us senior lads just to try and keep him cool.
“But like the gaffer touched on, we want him to be that fiery character on the pitch. It always brings out the best in him but so far this season he has been chanelling it really well so hopefully that continues.”
