Chris Sutton has predicted that Mikey Johnston will be a big player for Celtic this season and claims that he and James Forrest can 'really hurt' Rangers tomorrow.

Ibrox plays host on Sunday as the Gers welcome their bitter Glasgow rivals in the first Old Firm derby of the season.

The 20-year-old has already established himself as an important player for Celtic boss Neil Lennon in recent weeks, scoring three goals in all competitions - including one in the 4-1 Europa League playoff win against AIK in Sweden on Thursday.

Speed is one of Johnston's strongest assets, and Sutton says that Rangers should be worried about him and right-sided attacker Forrest on the other wing tomorrow.

He told BT Sport: "The bottom line is that Celtic can really hurt Rangers on the counter attack, the likes of Forrest and Mikey Johnston. He's going to be a big player for Celtic this season."

Unfortunately for Rangers boss Steven Gerrard, Sutton is spot-on.

Johnston has pace to burn and if the light Blues' manager doesn't figure out a way to negate the Lennoxtown gem, the hosts could be in serious trouble.
