Rush Wars has come out in select areas and is available to download in its soft-launch state as a beta.
A sly tweet from Supercell last Friday teased the arrival of a new game called Rush Wars arriving on August 26 with a beta. The developer were true to their word, but only in select countries. This has resulted in dozens of people wanting to know when the game comes out globally and how to download it.
Supercell are responsible for mobile juggernauts such as Clash Of Clans, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars and Boom Beach, and Rush Wars is their newest attempt at getting people so addicted they mindlessly give their money away willy-nilly.
If you’re someone who enjoys Supercell’s pay-to-win mobile cash grabs despite their malevolent intentions (although not according to Lifewire), then you’ll probably want to know when Rush Wars releases worldwide.
When does Rush Wars come out?
Unfortunately, no one knows when Rush Wars will launch globally.
Yes, the game is already out and available to play for some, but only as a beta in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Finland.
This is because developer Supercell wants to receive as much feedback as possible so they can iron out the kinks before launching globally.
Brawl Stars was their newest game before the secluded availability of Rush Wars, and the gap between its soft launch and worldwide release was a painfully long 16 months.
Hopefully the worldwide release for Rush Wars is much shorter, but – for now – only Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Finland can download it by visiting their mobile app store and searching “Rush Wars”.
This article will be updated with the worldwide release date when Supercell makes the announcement.
What is Rush Wars?
Per the game’s official website, “Rush Wars is a fast-paced strategy game in which you grow a squad of strangely connected and surprising new characters.”
These characters will – of course – be unlocked through the game’s loot crates, for which you then send them out onto the battlefield in search of gold mines to attack.
Problem is that you will have to protect your own mine through the means you’d expect from a tower defense game.
You can do this by joining an already established team or by creating your own with a bunch of mates to take on the world in exciting player vs. player matchups.
Unique maps such as Mega City and Area 54 will house effects unlike anything else, and you will unlock Commanders with special abilities and extra troops by earning Free Boxes.
Provided all of the above sounds good to you, then you will probably be foaming at the mouth in anticipation. If so, it’s no doubt a downer that its beta is only available in select areas with no worldwide release announced as of writing.
