The West Bromwich Albion winger Oliver Burke looks set for another loan spell after spending the second half of last season with Celtic.
According to AS in Spain, Deportivo Alaves could announce Burke’s signing on Friday.
And it is claimed that the reported £13.7 million recruit would stay with the Liga side on a season-long deal.
Burke has only played 24 times in two seasons on West Brom’s books and has scored or made four goals.
He fared slightly better at Celtic (19 appearances; seven goals or assists) but a return to Glasgow always looked unlikely once the Bhoys’ handling of the 22-year-old was publicly criticised by the West Brom technical director Luke Dowling.
Burke, who came through the ranks at Nottingham Forest, has already had one spell abroad, with RB Leipzig.
Should a deal go ahead, the 22-year-old would join the former Celtic loan stars John Guidetti and Mubarak Wakaso at Mendizorrotza.
