Tottenham Hotspur defender Davinson Sanchez has been called up to Colombia’s squad.
Tottenham Hotspur fans haven’t exactly taken kindly to the club updating supporters on Davinson Sanchez’s latest call-up for Colombia.
Tottenham defender Sanchez has been included in his national team’s squad for the upcoming international break in September, but his club form has not been good this season.
Sanchez has been favoured to Jan Vertonghen so far this term, in a move which has been controversial with Tottenham supporters.
Sanchez has been partly at fault for at least three goals which Spurs have let in this term.
And Tottenham’s move to post an update about Sanchez did not go down well at all.

He’ll be closer to Joelinton when he plays Brazil in New York than he was on Sunday…— FootballFlagsUK (@FootballFlagsUK) August 27, 2019
He better not start against Arsenal— ᴀʟᴇx (@_10Kane) August 27, 2019
Whether Spurs will opt to go with Vertonghen over Sanchez for the North London Derby remains to be seen.
Tottenham are under pressure to beat Arsenal on Sunday, but Vertonghen is unlikely to be fully match sharp, as he is yet to feature at all this term.
