Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United side were knocked out of the Carabao Cup last night.

Leeds United fans have praised Leif Davis’s display against Stoke City last night.

Davis was handed the chance to start for Leeds in the Carabao Cup and the youngster impressed.

Davis set up Leeds’ second goal on the night, after putting in a wonderful cross for Helder Costa to head home.

The 19-year-old also looked solid at the back, even though Stoke scored twice in the contest.

And there are many Leeds fans who think Davis has done his first-team chances no harm with his display.

Leeds were ultimately knocked out of the cup on penalties, with Jack Harrison missing the decisive kick.

Marcelo Bielsa may not be too concerned about Leeds’ exit from the competition though, as he has used the tournament to rotate his squad so far.

Davis has already been utilised in league matches so far this term, and seems to be a youngster that Bielsa does rate highly.
