Disney have given us our first real glimpse at the content heading to their upcoming streaming service, Disney+, and despite answering plenty of our previous questions at the D23 Expo, there's still a lot we don't know about the UK launch of Disney's Netflix rival.
Disney+ got its first big reveal back in April, at Disney's highly-anticipated Investor Day, which finally shed some light on several details about the streaming service.
As well as details about the extensive line-up of content coming to Disney+, the cost of the streaming service was revealed. Upon its launch, Disney+ will cost a remarkably reasonable $6.99.
As well as the cost, the US launch date was revealed as far back as April.

US launch date
Disney+ will be launching in the US on November 12th, 2019, as well as in Canada and The Netherlands, with Australia having to wait until November 19th.
That's all well and good, but what about us in the UK and those in the rest of the world?
Well, there's no concrete release date for Disney+ on this side of the pond as things stand.
All we do know is that Disney's streaming service should be coming to Western Europe, hopefully including the UK, sometime in 2020.
What's with the delay?
The delay in revealing the UK release for Disney+ has thrown up plenty of questions over whether fans will be able to watch Disney+'s exclusive new content such as the live-action Star Wars TV show, The Mandalorian, at the same time as viewers in the US.
It is speculated that Disney are holding off on launching the streaming service due to licensing of their content in the UK as streaming giants Netflix currently show a number of Marvel, Star Wars and Disney films on their streaming service.
Therefore it is likely that Disney postponing the UK launch so they can offer total exclusivity of Disney products on their service.

What do the fans make of this?
Naturally, Disney fans have taken to social media to express their concern about the lack of news for a UK launch of Disney+.
As early as April 2019, we knew that Disney+ was on its way but didn't know when.
If it’s true that #DisneyPlus won’t be available in the UK until early 2020, then Disney are making a huge mistake. Do you think that UK fans will be willing to wait a few more months for The Mandalorian? They’ll be illegally downloading it at the earliest possible opportunity.— Jake Wade (@Jake_Wade21) 12 April 2019
Very interested in #DisneyPlus but remain slightly miffed about the complete lack of details regarding it's launch in the UK @Disney_UK— JadedFett (@jadedfett) 12 April 2019
I will be significantly more miffed however if it transpires that we end up with a fraction of the content of the US version in the UK
More recently, in August 2019, as Disney+ was being demonstrated at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, UK viewers were still left with no information regarding the British launch of the streaming service.
Just found out there's no mention of a Disney+ UK launch. I'm very upset. Need that Mandalorian boy.— Elliot Gough - MUFFIN TIME ON KICKSTARTER NOW! (@ElliotExplicit) August 24, 2019
