Leeds United beat Stoke City 3-0, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side in impressive form at the weekend.

Leeds United fans have hit back at Nathan Jones, after the Stoke City boss told the Yorkshire Evening Post that his Luton Town team were similar to them.

Leeds beat Stoke 3-0 at the weekend, and thoroughly outclassed Jones’s men.

The Welsh boss is now under severe pressure at Stoke, after their poor start to the season.

But Leeds fans were not impressed by Jones’s defence of himself.

“I came from a side at the level below who were doing exactly the same to teams as Leeds do. They’re relentless,” he said.

Leeds supporters do not think that Luton can be compared to them though, and have criticised the Potters boss.

Jones did an impressive job at Luton, guiding them to promotion from League Two and to the verge of promotion from League One, before leaving to join Stoke.

Jones hasn’t had the impact at Stoke many were expecting though, with the Potters still struggling badly.

Things are not about to get any easier for Jones either, as he is due to face Leeds again in midweek, this time in the Carabao Cup.
