Ex-Celtic striker Henrik Larsson has quit his post as Helsingborg boss.

Celtic have one former player in charge right now in Neil Lennon, but another has just decided to step away from a managerial post.
Henrik Larsson made the surprise move back to Helsingborg in June, returning to manage his hometown club for a second spell.
The former striker had a previous spell in charge of the club from January 2015 to November 2016, and he stepped away from coaching before becoming Angelholm assistant in 2018.
Helsingborg surprisingly brought Larsson back this summer, but he’s quit after just two months in charge due to verbal abuse from supporters.
Larsson seemingly feels he doesn’t have to stand for the criticism he’s receiving and has decided to step away from his club, his hometown club, the club he had two stints with as a player too.
That’s a sad state of affairs, but Celtic fans now want to see the Swede return to Parkhead, having hit 242 goals in 313 games for the Bhoys in his playing days.

Fans have taken to Twitter to urge Celtic to pounce and bring Larsson back, suggesting that he should be on Neil Lennon’s coaching staff having played together at Parkhead.
Some want him as an assistant manager at Celtic, feeling that he could really help Odsonne Edouard develop, whilst noting that a coaching team of Lennon, Larsson and John Kennedy would be the right mix to take Celtic forward if Larsson is still interested in coaching.
