Sheyi Ojo was in action for Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers on Thursday.
Sheyi Ojo of Rangers
Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of winger Sheyi Ojo on Thursday evening.
Ojo, who joined Rangers on loan from Premier League club Liverpool in the summer transfer window, was in action for Steven Gerrard’s side in the first leg of their Europa League playoff round tie against Legia Warsaw away from home.
The 22-year-old winger started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a goalless draw.
The youngster should have scored when he had an early chance with a header, and his passing and final ball left much to be desired.
Ojo has been playing well for Rangers since his loan move from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, but on Thursday evening, he fell short of the high standards he has set himself.
According to WhoScored, the English youngster has scored one goal in two Scottish Premiership appearances and three goals in six Europa League qualifiers for Rangers this season.
Rangers fans were not impressed with the display produced by Ojo against Legia Warsaw and have criticised him on Twitter.
