Nuno’s Wolverhampton Wanderers side are now on the verge of qualifying for the Europa League group stages.

Gary Lineker has praised Wolverhampton Wanderers for ‘killing it’ in their Europa League tie against Torino last night.

Lineker was in Italy on holiday, and he took time out to watch Wolves compete in Europe yesterday.

Nuno’s side picked up a 3-2 win in the contest, and Lineker was clearly impressed by the Premier League’s side’s display.

Wolves’ away win against Torino has given them a strong platform in the tie.

Nuno’s task of getting through looked tough when they drew Torino, but they were deserving of their victory last night.

Wolves went in front when Gleison Bremer scored an own goal, before Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez added a second and a third.

Wolves will now take on Torino at Molineux next week, and as long as they avoid defeat then they will be guaranteed to progress to the group stages of the competition.
