As if there weren't enough reasons to keep playing The Sims 4, Electronic Arts has recently debuted a new trailer for the exciting Realm Of Magic pack. You probably won't need any convincing to buy the DLC if you're a diehard fan who enjoys controlling virtual puppets on a daily basis, but you'll still find its release date and price for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC below.
In addition to the Realm Of Magic pack, fashionistas who can somehow justify buying clothes that cost more than £100 also have the Moschino Stuff Pack to anticipate next month.
While you can find out everything you need to know about EA's collaboration with the ridiculously expensive store by clicking the link above, fanciful witches and wizards simply need to continue reading to find out everything there is to know about the upcoming Realm Of Magic DLC.
The Sims 4 Realm Of Magic trailer
EA may be having a mare with people leaving them, BioWare and Anthem behind to explore greater opportunities, but they've still found the time to extort money from The Sims' community by releasing an exciting trailer for the Realm Of Magic pack.
As is blatantly obvious from the trailer, the DLC content is massively inspired by the Harry Potter series.
But, rather than just being a superficially thin DLC bundle with Harry Potter aesthetics, the Realm Of Magic pack contains a lot of neat content.
What's new in The Sims 4 Real Of Magic?
The Sims 4 Realm Of Magic DLC introduces a quiet and rather unremarkable town named Glimmerbook. While this town appears about as dull as Mane, it actually contains a secret that makes it as exciting as every Stephen King novel.
For you see, the town contains a secret portal to an unforgettable world where people can learn witchcraft and wizardry.
Those that bravely step through the aforementioned portal will be taken to a magical realm where they can "collect and cast spells to make Sims fight, conjure food, or even turn others into objects."
As well as being able to transfigure any detestable Sims into toads, players will also be able to brew potions to remove unwanted curses, to live the life of Cupid and to cheat death.
Because Harry Potter was nothing more than two wizards pointing sticks at each other in combat, The Sims 4 Realm Of Magic also allows Sims to dual.
Oh, and as you'd expect, the DLC also introduces costumes, decorations and items most Harry Potter fanatics probably own in real-life.
The Sims 4 Realm Of Magic price and release dates for PS4, Xbox One and PC
The Sims 4 Realm Of Magic was first announced at EA Play in June, and - despite feeling as if it was only yesterday - its release date is on the horizon.
EA's newest trailer for the upcoming DLC confirms that the pack will arrive on PC and Mac come September 10.
As for PS4 and Xbox One gamers, they'll have to wait a little longer as the pack is scheduled to land on consoles on October 15.
No price has been announced as of writing, but you should probably expect it to cost about £17.99 thanks to the series' track record.
