Tottenham Hotspur are still reportedly tracking the brilliant teenager.

According to a report from French publication L’Equipe, Tottenham were one of several clubs to make a bid for Rennes whizkid Eduardo Camavinga before the transfer deadline two weeks ago, only to see their offer rebuffed by the French side.

The Daily Mail reported just two days ago that Spurs scouted the 16-year-old during Rennes’ clash with Paris Saint-Germain, and are preparing an offer for the teenager in the near future.

Camavinga ran the show against Thomas Tuchel’s side, providing an assist for his side during their dramatic victory.

But it seems as though Tottenham’s interest goes back further than Rennes’ 2-1 win over the French champions.

According to a report from French publication L’Equipe, the north London outfit, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich all made bids for the youngster earlier this month.

Camavinga seems to be a real star for the future, but Spurs will have their work cut-out if they want to sign him, with so many other top clubs reportedly interested in acquiring his services.

Mauricio Pochettino is well-renowned for working well with bright young talents, however, and with the wonderfully exciting project that the Argentine is overseeing at Tottenham, there is every chance that the Rennes starlet will be tempted to join the Lilywhites.
