The City Ground side were behind for much of the game but Albert Adomah scored a second-half equaliser for Sabri Lamouchi's charges.
The Reds were under the cosh in the opening stages of the game at The Valley as Jonathan Leko struck the post two minutes in and Aro Muric had to save from Conor Gallagher before Michael Dawson got in the way of an effort by Leko from the rebound.
Sabri Lamouchi's side eventually fell behind on 18 minutes as Lyle Taylor headed home from a Leko cross, and had to wait until the 78th minute before they managed to rattle in the equaliser, a corner into the Charlton area saw the ball bounce off a defender's leg before Albert Adomah fired home.
Worrall was somewhat critical of his side's performance in saying it was "not the best" but praised Forest's resilience, paid tribute to the travelling fans for their efforts in travelling to London in midweek, and finished off by hailing Adomah for his late equaliser.
Not the best, however resilient again to snatch a point away from home; not a bad trait to have. Thank you to the away fans - midweek all the way to London, top class as always. Thank you. #NFFC ❤️ P.S #UncleAlbert— Joe Worrall (@JoeWorrall5) 21 August 2019
Some Reds fans took the time to respond to Worrall's tweet:
