Huddersfield Town are 23rd in the Championship but it would be even worse if they hadn’t signed goalkeeper Grabara on loan from Premier League Liverpool.

Just imagine where Huddersfield Town would be right now without the heroics of Kamil Grabara between the sticks.
The Terriers continue to lack any bark or bite in the final third and went down with a whimper once again on Wednesday night, losing 2-1 to Cardiff City as they slumped to 23rd in the embryonic Championship table.
But a team who spent most of the last 12 months scraping the bottom of the Premier League would surely be below Stoke City too if it wasn’t for some inspired performances from the on-loan Liverpool goalkeeper.
The Poland U21 international has certainly endured baptism of fire since leaving the Reds for a year-long spell at the John Smith’s Stadium. With Christopher Schindler and Dutch international Terence Kongolo ahead of him, Grabara probably didn’t expect that he would end up being so overworked.

Fortunately, the 20-year-old has stepped up to the task, even if his brilliant displays have counted for very little. One solitary point, to be precise.
Only a heavily deflected Junior Hoilett strike, in the 88th minute no less, was enough to hand Cardiff all three points in South Wales with another superb display from Grabara going to waste.
At least he can take some solace in knowing that Liverpool will be very impressed with how he is conducting himself in testing circumstances.
