West Bromwich Albion forward Jonathan Leko has been loaned out to Charlton Athletic for the season.

West Bromwich Albion loanee Jonathan Leko is having to take the blame for Charlton Athletic drawing yesterday.

Charlton drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest, despite having the better of the contest for large spells.

West Brom loanee Leko was offered the chance to start in the contest, and his performance was a lively one.

The youngster had the chance to wrap up the three points for Charlton in the second half though, and he fluffed his lines.

When Lyle Taylor cut the ball back to him, the West Brom loanee only had to tap into the back of the net from six yards, but he blazed his shot over the bar.

And Charlton fans really want the youngster to start becoming more clinical.

West Brom will still feel satisfied by the start Leko has made at Charlton, despite his profligacy last night.

Leko has forced his way into Lee Bowyer’s line-up and looks likely to play an important role for the Addicks over the season.
