Everton decided to loan Josh Bowler to Hull City, but the youngster hasn’t started very well.
It’s fair to say that Everton youngster Josh Bowler’s time at Hull City has not gone according to plan so far.
Bowler has been one of the stars of Everton’s development squad over recent times, and there are high hopes for him at Goodison Park.
However, the young winger has struggled since leaving Everton to join Hull so far.
Bowler was only given a substitute appearance for Hull last night, during their 1-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers, but the reaction to his cameo display was not positive.
And Everton fans may be worried by the initial verdict on Bowler’s performances from Hull fans.
Bowler wants a penalty. Behave, lad. #hcafc— Rick (@HullCityLive) August 20, 2019
Well that’s just utterly typical City #hcafc McKenzie, Bowler, Kingsley and Eaves not convincing. Bowen bottled it. Terrible officiating let us down as well. Stewart and Long pretty good, Grosicki too. Just got to take your chances. Pretty even until the last 20 minutes or so.— N_Whittingham (@N_Whittingham) August 20, 2019

McKenzie made 35 Yr old Downing look like a pacey winger.
Bowler is a white Aaron Lennon.
Bowen off the boil – but we can’t rely on him every game.
Knackered for most of that second half – fitness issues?
Why the hell didn’t Long appeal for the foul?#hcafc #HULBLA https://t.co/VIj88Gxw42
He needs to get fit. The whole team needs to be fitter to play this system. Bowler looks garbage to me. Awful decision making. Total would have been a better option. More composure as the fame dropped deeper.— Jon Tennison (@jontenuk) August 20, 2019
Bowler looked very raw, his introduction moved Jarrod into the middle limiting his effectiveness. You’re probably right about Toral!— James Lockwood (@EnfieldTiger) August 20, 2019

Bowler still has time on his side to win the supporters at the KC Stadium over, but his displays will need to improve.
Hull have collected four points from their first four games in the Championship, with their next match coming against Bristol City.
