West Ham United midfielder Manuel Lanzini is reportedly set to be offered a new deal by the club.

West Ham United fans are delighted that Manuel Pellegrini appears to have offered Manuel Lanzini a new contract.

Sky Sports claim that Lanzini is close to penning a long-term deal, which would secure his future at the London Stadium.

Lanzini’s current West Ham contract expires at the end of the season, although the club do have an option to extend the deal for another two years.

But West Ham are hoping to get the playmaker to commit his future for the long-term.

And West Ham fans are delighted that Lanzini looks like he’ll stick around.

There is now increased competition for Lanzini at West Ham, but he has continued to play an important role for Pellegrini’s men so far this season.

Lanzini claimed an assist for the Hammers at the weekend, in their 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Argentine looks likely to start in West Ham’s next match against Watford, by which time he may have penned a new contract.
