Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are reportedly interested in the 16-year-old who was outstanding at the weekend.

Eduardo Camavinga may have shocked most of the football world with his outstanding performance at the weekend, but it appears that the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal were already well aware of his talent as the Daily Mail reports that the Premier League pair, along with Manchester City, sent scouts to watch the 16-year-old star for Rennes.

The teenager stole the headlines as he produced a brilliant display against Paris Saint-Germain to help his side to a 2-1 victory. He stood out in the middle of the park as he kept a number of star-studded names quiet, and contributed the assist that led to the decisive goal.

The Daily Mail reports that Spurs, the Gunners and the Premier League champions all had scouts in attendance for the surprise victory, while Barcelona and Real Madrid are also amongst the group of sides monitoring his progress.

Camavinga is getting into his first full season within the first-team, so it will be interesting to see how he gets on, especially as so many of Europe's heavyweights are now watching him closely.

Unfortunately, there have been so many talented teenagers who have struggled to deal with the expectation once they have so many eyes on them, or after they have secured their dream move.

Of course, the Premier League trio are at something of a disadvantage with the English transfer window already closed for this summer.

It would arguably be a big surprise however, if Camavinga did move anytime soon while he is playing regularly and developing at a frightening rate.

A move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could potentially see Mauricio Pochettino form a future partnership between Camavinga and summer signing Tanguy Ndombele, who, having arrived from Ligue 1, is likely to have already been well aware of the name that everyone now seems to be talking about.
