Glasgow Rangers are one round away from reaching the Europa League group-stages, but play the first-leg of the play-off round away from Ibrox.

Should Rangers win their sixth game on the spin this Thursday, Steven Gerrard’s men will put one foot in the group-stages of the Europa League with the first-leg of their play-off tie with Legia Warsaw promising to be a tough test for the Gers.

The Light Blues have been superb lately, scoring 16 goals in their last four games including seven across the two games against Midtjylland in the previous round.

With a considerably different lineup winning against East Fife in difficult conditions at the weekend, Gerrard has a few selection dilemmas heading into the trip to Poland. Two players who will not be involved are Filip Helander and Greg Docherty, who were left out of the squad for this round.

The back five looks to be picking itself at the moment, with Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic returning to the heart of the defence, James Tavernier and Jon Flanagan at full-back, and Allan McGregor replacing Wes Foderingham in goal.

Glen Kamara, Ryan Jack and Steven Davis may make up the midfield, but it would also not be a huge surprise if Joe Aribo was rewarded for his brilliant form by keeping his place.

There are also some tricky decisions up front with Jermain Defoe continuing his hot streak in front of goal, while Jordan Jones continues to prove why it was such a coup to bring him in. However, they may drop out for Alfredo Morelos, Scott Arfield and Sheyi Ojo to return, with Arfield playing more centrally behind Morelos.

With that in mind, here is a look at the predicted lineup in full…
