The 28-year-old Sweden international central defender will return to Elland Road on Wednesday evening with Brentford for the Championship game between the two sides.
Ahead of the match, Leeds head coach Bielsa has praised the defender, and has urged the Elland Road faithful to welcome him.
Bielsa has also suggested that he knows Jansson’s strengths and weaknesses and will plan for the match accordingly.
Bielsa told Leeds Live about Jansson’s reception: “He deserves to be received with the right reception. He was the best player last season.
“I cannot talk about his previous years because I wasn’t here. He did a high level last season.
"I appreciate what Jansson gave to the team. I think the fans are going to be fair and recognise what Jansson did here.”
Bielsa added about playing against the Swede: “We know Pontus’s strengths. The idea is to avoid what he does well, but this is normal in football.
“This is the game. You have to try to avoid the strengths of the other teams in games because this is key. You are not going to make a difference even if you know the player.”
Jansson was one of the best players during his time at Leeds, and the fans should give him a positive reception.
During his time at the Whites, the defender fought hard for the shirt and was always committed, and that should not be forgotten by the West Yorkshire outfit’s fans.
