Leeds United fans have been congratulating Andy Lonergan on Twitter.
The former Whites goalkeeper sent a message on Twitter on Sunday following a whirlwind week which has seen him join Liverpool.
Lonergan, who had two different year-long spells with Leeds, was named on the bench for the Reds' Super Cup win over Chelsea last week, and again in the victory at Southampton.
The 35-year-old had his contract at Elland Road terminated last summer following a mixed first season back in West Yorkshire.
Here's how Leeds fans responded to his tweet on Sunday.

Oh Lonners ❤— Jack Everley (@EverleyJack) August 18, 2019
Lonergan was originally United's back-up goalkeeper for the 2017-18 campaign, playing behind Felix Wiedwald.
But the German was dreadful in his opening few months and the Irish-born veteran took the gloves off him eventually, though Wiedwald ultimately won his place back after Lonergan himself struggled.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Rochdale in League One.
