Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa was reportedly keen on George Puscas but he went to Reading instead.

George Puscas is showing exactly what Leeds United missed out on already, after moving to Reading.

Leeds wanted Puscas this summer, as reported by the Daily Mail, but they failed to get a deal over the line.

The powerful Romanian instead went to Reading for £8 million (Mail) and he has been simply incredible so far.

Puscas bludgeoned his way past Cardiff City at the weekend, as he scored twice in a 3-0 victory.

The Leeds target now has three goals to his name already this season, and looks a real contender to be among the top scorers.

Leeds will still feel that they have strong attacking options, with Patrick Bamford starting strongly and Eddie Nketiah joining on loan.

But with Puscas also involved it is scary to think just how dangerous Leeds could have been.

And Leeds may well be left to regret not pushing harder to sign the target-man while they had the chance if he continues his impressive form at Reading.
