The defender is one of two Wolverhampton Wanderers players on loan at Doncaster Rovers.
John joined Rovers on a season-long deal at the start of August, alongside his Wolves teammate Niall Ennis, but sat out his temporary employers’ first two League One fixtures.
His debut finally arrived against Fleetwood Town on Saturday and was marked with an unlikely goal, which was lashed into the net from inside the 18-yard box.
And many of a Doncaster persuasion were impressed with his overall display.

John’s goal cancelled out Conor McAleny’s opener at the Keepmoat Stadium, before James Coppinger curled Doncaster in front before the break.
Paddy Madden equalised for the visitors, before his teammate Wes Burns turned into is own net in second-half stoppage time.
