Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United lost to Norwich City on Saturday.
Darren Huckerby has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Norwich City’s win against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
Norwich, who won automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of last season, won 3-1 against Newcastle at Carrow Road in the Premier League.
Teemu Pukki was the star of the show for the Canaries, as the former Celtic striker scored a hat-trick for the home team.
Huckerby, who played for both Norwich and Newcastle, was impressed with the performance of Norwich, and he felt that Steve Bruce’s side were “poor”.
The 43-year-old has also questioned Newcastle striker Joelinton and his price-tag.
The Magpies signed the 23-year-old striker from Hoffenheim in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £40 million.
Against Norwich on Saturday afternoon, Joelinton took two shots, had a pass accuracy of 73.3%, won one header, made three tackles and one clearance, and played one key pass, according to WhoScored.
