A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter following Spurs Under-23s triumph over their Manchester City counterparts on Friday evening and, while Troy Parrott was the standout player with his brace, there was also a lot of praise for Paris Maghoma for his performance and goal in the Premier League 2 clash.
The 18-year-old midfielder, described by the Spurs website as "an all-action player who always appears calm and collected in possession", struck a superb left-footed effort on the stroke of half time at the Tottenham Hotspur Arena, connecting first-time with Shilow Tracey's pass to curl home into the top corner from just outside the box.
Parrott had drawn first blood for Spurs with his 35th-minute goal and had added his second - and Tottenham's third - from the penalty spot before an hour had elapsed, and although Nabil Touaizi pulled one back for Man City seven minutes from time, the night belonged to the Lilywhites.

With Mauricio Pochettino's side heading to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday in a huge Premier League game so early on in the season, Spurs fans will be hoping for more of the same against the Citizens.
