The Tottenham Hotspur striker is a vitally important player for Mauricio Pochettino's side.
Jamie Carragher raved about the quality of Harry Harry Kane, when speaking exclusively to the Telegraph, and suggested that he is the only Tottenham player who Pep Guardiola would want to sign for Manchester City, if he had the chance to do so.
The 26-year-old is widely considered to be one of the very best strikers in world football, and his goal record for Spurs really is very impressive.
Kane has racked up an incredible 166 goals in 254 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham thus far, and it could be argued that he is the best finisher in the game.
The England international is without doubt Mauricio Pochettino's most important player, and Carragher highlighted just how vital he is to the Spurs side, when speaking exclusively to the Telegraph:
"It is simply my belief that Kane is the one man in the squad Pochettino could not afford to lose in this window, or at any point in the last three years. Here is the truest measure of Kane's class: Go through the respective line-ups of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City when they face up this weekend. Which Spurs player would be on Pep Guardiola's shopping list? With Sergio Aguero now 31, I would be amazed if he is not the number one choice."
Spurs do have plenty of talented players, but considering the quality of Manchester City's team, Carragher is probably spot on with his comments.
Tottenham head to the Etihad to take on Pep Guardiola's brilliant City side today, and Kane will have to be on his very best form, if Pochettino's men are to have any chance whatsoever of returning to London with anything to show for their efforts.
