Dani Ceballos played well for Arsenal against Burnley.
Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Dani Ceballos’s performance for Arsenal against Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
Ceballos was in action for Arsenal in their Premier League game against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium in North London.
The 23-year-old central midfielder, signed on loan from Spanish and European giants Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, started the match and played for 83 minutes, as Unai Emery’s side won 2-1.
The Spain international was brilliant for the Gunners and was arguably the best player for the home team, who were the better side against the Clarets and deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.
According to WhoScored, the former Real Betis star took three shots of which one was on target, played four key passes, had a pass accuracy of 90%, took 97 touches, attempted four dribbles, made two tackles, and put in five crosses.
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Lineker was following the match, and he was impressed with the display produced by Ceballos.
Ceballos is a lovey footballer. Admired him at Betis and wondered why it hasn’t really happened for him at Real Madrid.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) August 17, 2019
