The Brazilian scored straight after coming on for Tottenham Hotspur against Manchester City today.

Lucas Moura scored an equaliser for Tottenham against Manchester City today with his first touch after coming on as a second-half substitute in place of Harry Winks.

The Brazilian has had to make do with a bit-part role for Spurs since moving to north London from Paris Saint-Germain in January 2018 for around £23 million, according to BBC Sport.

But it surely cannot be too much longer before he is a first-team regular for Tottenham.


Every time he is called upon he seems to deliver for his side.

And he gives Spurs an entirely different option through the middle what with his explosive pace.

Moura certainly made a difference when he came on for Tottenham against City, providing Mauricio Pochettino's men with more impetus in the final third.

If nothing else, he sent a big message to his manager today.
