The Rams winger has struggled this season for Phillip Cocu’s side and some of the Pride Park faithful are running out of patience.

A number of Derby County fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Florian Jozefzoon’s display in the 2-2 Championship draw at Stoke City on Saturday.

The 28-year-old, who joined Derby from Brentford last summer for a reported £2.8million fee (Transfermarkt), has flattered to deceive in the Rams’ opening games of the season but was once again named in Phillip Cocu’s starting XI for the trip to the Bet365 Stadium, deployed at left wing-back.

Nonetheless, Jozefzoon struggled once again, seldom taking players on and showing very little end product, as well as earning himself a yellow card for a foul on Tom Ince near the touchline which sparked a melee midway through the second half.

Following the game, some of the Derby faithful made their feelings clear on a player many feel is underperforming at Pride Park:

Derby took the lead through Martyn Waghorn’s second minute opener, but Stoke turned it around when they equalised on 32 minutes when Liam Lindsay headed home from a corner and then took the lead through Scott Hogan’s emphatic finish.

However, Waghorn salvaged a point for the Rams when George Evans was brought down in the box two minutes later for a penalty, which the former Rangers and Ipswich man slotted home straight down the middle to send Jack Butland the wrong way.
