Leeds United will be looking to maintain their good run of form with victory over Wigan Athletic away from home at the DW Stadium this afternoon.
The West Yorkshire outfit will head into the match against Wigan on the back of a 3-0 victory over Salford City away from home in the EFL Cup.
It followed a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest at Elland Road in the Championship, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side having kicked off their league campaign with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Bristol City away from home at the start of the month.
Meanwhile, Wigan have lost their last two competitive matches, going down 3-0 to Preston North End away from home in the Championship before losing 1-0 to Stoke City in the EFL Cup.
The Latics did start the season well, beating Cardiff City 3-2 at the DW Stadium in the Championship.

Meanwhile, Leeds goalkeeper Kiko Casilla has said that the team lacked conviction in the final few games of last season, which led to the Whites failing to get past the Championship semi-final playoffs.
Casilla told AS when asked what Leeds lacked last season: “Believing in ourselves more in the last few games. This league is not easy, it is very competitive.”
