A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to praise Filip Krovinovic for his comments on life at The Hawthorns, in an interview with the Baggies media team.

The Croatian joined Albion from Portuguese giants Benfica on a season-long loan deal, Slaven Bilic's first signing since his appointment to The Hawthorns dugout (BBC Sport).

Krovinovic has very much hit the ground running at B71, impressing in pre-season and playing 90 minutes in both Championship games so far, as well as coming off the bench in the Carabao Cup against Millwall (Transfermarkt).

In conversation with the club's media team, the 23-year-old spoke of how he likes life at West Brom and in the region a lot, describing the people as "kind and good to me, "amazing", "very approachable, very friendly and they like to have jokes with me".

He also praised the messages of support on his social media channels, saying: “Those messages give me a lot of confidence because the fans are very important to the team and also to me. The fans are with us and they want to push us forward.”

Already a fan favourite at West Brom for his talent, professionalism and affable personality, Krovinovic's latest comments further endeared him to the Baggies fanbase, many of whom sung his praises on Twitter:

Up next for the Baggies is their Championship trip to Luton Town on Saturday and, judging by how well Krovinovic has done so far, Albion fans will be hoping the £4.5million-rated playmaker (Transfermarkt) can impress again for their side and eventually be their catalyst for promotion come next May.
