Oztumer finally left Sunderland’s League One rivals, Bolton Wanderers, on Thursday.

Some Sunderland supporters are urging the Mackems to make a move after Erhun Oztumer left their League One rivals, Bolton Wanderers.

According to the Bolton News, Oztumer requested to terminate his contract last month, but was forced to appeal after being turned down by the club’s administrators.

The newspaper speculates that Charlton Atheltic could now be tempted to approach the attacking midfielder, whom they have previously pursued.

But with Sunderland not exactly spoilt for choice in Oztumer’s position, the following Mackems fans are keen to get in on any action…

Oztumer boasts an excellent record at League One level, having scored or made 55 goals in 137 games across spells at Peterborough United, Walsall and Bolton.

And the Londoner could be a good fit for club like Sunderland, who have drawn both their third-tier matches this season 1-1 – a scoreline they have now recorded 17 times from the last 48 in the league.

Sunderland travel to Bolton at the end of next month.

But should Oztumer go with them?
