Rangers attacker Sheyi Ojo can be proud of his performance tonight at Ibrox after helping Steven Gerrard's side beat FC Midtjylland 3-1 in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League qualifying clash.

Deployed on the left flank and often drifting inside to support Alfredo Morelos, the Liverpool loanee terrorised the Danes' defence to create two assists and score a goal of his own on the night.

With the tie done and dusted, Gerrard decided to give the player a well earned rest midway through the second half. The 22-year-old received quite the ovation from the home support when being substituted off.

After being benched for last week's trip to Denmark, Ojo has responded with two massive performances against Hibernian and Midtjylland, surely cementing his status as a prime pick in Gerrard's starting eleven.

Having won the two-leg tie by a 7-3 margin, the Gers can now move ahead with confidence into the play-off round where they will face Legia Warsaw.

The Polish outfit will be their toughest test of the summer so far but the ambitious Scottish side will be eager to make the group stages of the competition for the second successive season.
