Arsenal signed Kieran Tierney from Celtic.

Arsenal are not expecting new signing Kieran Tierney to be available any time soon.
The club’s official website issued an injury report, stating Tierney is hoping to begin full training in October.
Tierney arrived at the club with a groin injury, and the club state he is currently continuing to be assessed and receive treatment.
Arsenal signed Tierney on transfer deadline day from Celtic, and hope he can be the club’s first choice left-back.

33-year-old Nacho Monreal started for the Gunners on the first day of the season against Newcastle.
Tierney’s injury status is a reminder for Celtic fans that he would not have been available to help them in their recent Champions League qualifying match, which they lost to Cluj, suffering elimination.
With Tierney not expected to return to training until October, it could be that he does not make his debut for the club until November.
Regardless of how Monreal is faring, Arsenal may need him by time the busy December schedule arrives, and so there is no immediate need to rush him and risk further setback.
