Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama has been linked with Galatasaray.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama may soon have a decision to make over his future.

Turkish newspaper Fanatik report Galatasaray are hoping to sign him before the August 31 Super Lig transfer deadline.

It was reported last week by The Telegraph that Tottenham were willing to let Wanyama leave if an offer came in.

If Galatasaray can successfully make their case to Wanyama, and meet Tottenham’s asking price, it should be a simple choice for the midfielder.

At the Turkish giants, Wanyama would become a key player.

Remaining at Tottenham, he might struggle to make the bench.

He was among the substitutes at the weekend against Aston Villa. But will this be the case when Giovani Lo Celso and Dele Alli are back fit?

What if Mauricio Pochettino opts to pick a centre-back on the bench, which he chose not to at the weekend?

Wanyama stands to be one of the first to drop out, and with the competition for places in midfield, its hard to see him becoming a first team regular.

It is in the Kenyan’s interests to move on, certainly if he wants to be at a club where he can play a substantial role.
